A plan you can
see yourself in.
An example academy. A concrete starting point.
This academy is fictional. Program, offer and class details below illustrate a plan, rather than identifying a client. The examples use our client-preview design system with academy identity replaced. The folded gi and watch are AI-generated illustrative imagery. No results are claimed.
Make a plan for my academy ↗What we understood
One academy.
Three ways in.
For this example, the academy is a neighborhood academy with adult fundamentals, kids’ classes and evening no-gi. Its strongest introduction is a clear invitation to find a suitable first class.
- Adult beginners
- A structured introduction for people with no previous training.
- Kids
- Age-appropriate practice, with a parent choosing the class.
- No-gi
- Evening training for adults with different levels of experience.
In your actual plan, each finding links to its website source. Unsupported details stay questions. You can tell us what we misunderstood.
The recommended approach
Make the first step
easy to picture.
Use a distinct ad for each verified program. Start with the question each audience is asking: “Can I do this?”, “Is this right for my child?”, or “Will this fit my week?”
The example invitation is to enquire about a suitable class. We have not invented a discount, free trial or limited-time promotion. A real campaign uses an offer the academy explicitly accepts.
- Audience: people within a realistic travelling distance; parents for the kids’ program.
- Creative: one clear message per program, with academy photography where available.
- Destination: a program-specific enquiry page that asks for enough information to help.
- Follow-up: a tested route to the academy’s agreed contact destination. The academy responds.
Proposed creative / Adult beginners
Our white belts
have mortgages.

The message
Our white belts have mortgages. Beginners here are not all 22. Ask about a suitable first class.
Why this direction
Speak to the adult wondering whether they have left it too late. A familiar detail and a little humour make starting feel less intimidating.
After the click
Tell us your experience and the times that work for you. The academy follows up with the next suitable fundamentals class.
Example only. The exact copy, image and offer need academy approval before launch.
Proposed creative / Kids’ classes
One hour.
Zero screens.

The message
Movement. Focus. A place to practice both. Ask about kids’ classes at the example academy.
Why this direction
Talk to the parent making the decision. Show the age group, class atmosphere and first-visit process before asking for an enquiry.
After the click
Share your child’s age group and your preferred class time. The academy confirms which class to visit and what to bring.
Example only. The exact copy, image and offer need academy approval before launch.
Proposed creative / No-gi
You cannot
zone out here.

The message
Trade the workday for a round on the mats. Explore no-gi classes at the example academy.
Why this direction
Lead with the transition from work to training. Keep the enquiry specific to no-gi so the academy can answer the right question.
After the click
Tell us whether you have trained before and which evenings suit you. The academy helps you choose an appropriate class.
Example only. The exact copy, image and offer need academy approval before launch.
The investment
Two payments.
Clearly separated.
- $299/month to BJJAds
- Research, creative, setup and ongoing campaign management.
- Your ad budget to Meta
- Your chosen spend, on your card, in your account. No minimum ad spend.
Before committing, you see the charging terms for your checkout. Before launch, we agree a budget and explain what it can test. This example does not predict leads, bookings or memberships.
The next decision
Does this sound
like your academy?
For a real plan, your first decision is whether the understanding and direction are right. You can ask for corrections before proceeding.
Agree the plan
Confirm the approach. Resolve the actual offer, program details, budget and account access.
Then approve the built ads
Review the actual creative and copy, agreed spend and tested enquiry destination. Approving the strategy alone never authorizes ads to run.
What we would still ask Northline
- Which ages belong in each kids’ class?
- What should a first-time visitor bring?
- Which class times have room for new students?
- Who responds to enquiries, and where should they arrive?
These are example questions. Your real plan asks about missing information, rather than assuming answers.
